Flocking and possible housekeeping
I have gone back and flocked quite a few more personal posts, including the ones about religion and fat acceptance and pretty much all my "what I did on my weekend" posts. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable about the sheer amount of information available about my life, even though I've been pretty careful about *what* I say. I'll be locking that kind of thing from here on out, so if you've been lurking and want to keep reading it, let me know.
Also, my flist is getting a bit large. I haven't decided to cut back yet, but it's possible I will. I know I'll be cutting some comms off the list, at least.
As always, feel free to defriend me if you're tired of my rambling.

But yes, I understand. I've been flocking a lot more of my posts lately too.

Oh come on, I just got here, don't make me pack up and leave. :)
All this flocking is making me wonder if I'm doing it wrong, with not doing hugely personal information posts.

You're still into Stargate, right? I've no problem reading someone's personal posts, if they want me to know about their life, (or not, if they want to keep that private, but I'm mostly in lj for the SG1, and RDA--which comprises the fun entertainment in my life, for the past 3 years.

(And I'm feeling the urge to flock personal stuff at the moment, too. In my case, it's randomized paranoia due to things on other people's LJs making me aware of how public this place really is.)

(I tend to read a lot of lj's, so I'm not always totally sure who is into or out of what bits of fandom--I'm just glad you are still in my favorite fandom!)

I went Friends only for the same sort of reason. Memes and PSAs and such are one thing, but just having my rants and raves and other stuff hanging out there...no.
I keep thinking about trimming, but I never get around to it. I think I think I'll miss something if I do. Then again...I'm sure I miss stuff because I can't keep up sometimes.

(I understand what you're saying, though. I went back and flocked some more of my posts last night, too.)

I also use filters so comms do not overwhelm my flist, but sometimes I forget to add people to the correct filters and get unfriended by accident. lol.

I can understand about the housekeeping of your journal. Mine needs it desperately and I've been trying to do that for some time now, but well... *sigh* I will one of these. I swear! :D

I'm tired, but it has nothing to do with your entertaining rambles! Hee.
I've been thinking about this, too, except then I think there'd be nothing public on my journal but fic. *ponders*
