If I talk about my WIPs, they might disappear

So...really quick, so they don't hear me, these are the WIPs I have: telepathy fic Sam/Jack; Continuum Sam/Jack ANGST; Sam/Ba'al (oh, yeah, I'm going to hell) pre-Ark of Truth AU; Sha're/Sam/Daniel post COTG AU.

And Star Wars post-ANH/pre-ESB for KR. No, I haven't forgotten.

Anyone else want to go to Creation Con Vancouver next year with me? I'm eyeing the very expensive and yet awesome Gold package. $600 for lots of cool things, including a set tour, which, okay, yes, it's Atlantis, but still! Vancouver is mostly in driving distance for me, so...it's doable.

ETA: It says that the tickets are non-exchangeable, but that means to another con, right? So selling my ticket is an option later on if for some reason I can't go?

Can I ride in your trunk? I can't get a passport due to legal difficulties.

Sam/Ba'al (oh, yeah, I'm going to hell) pre-Ark of Truth AU

This makes me gleeful in a way I don't completely understand and probably shouldn't admit to in public. *g*

Heh, yes, I have that same problem (superstition?) with WIPs. But in hopes your WIPs don't spot me: oooh, write them! Telepathy Sam/Jack YAY!

$600 is only about £300...

You know I'm looking at it...
(the set tour doesn't involve anything SG-1? Damn. Stupid not reading fine print. I was though hoping to wait and see what the cheaper tickets involved. Oh, man, I could fly to Portland and we could have a ROAD TRIP. except I will have classes. damn.)

I don't think you'd like my trunk very much...not when they say it takes hours to go through customs.

I am not sure about the set tour, but I suspect it's mostly Atlantis. :-(

I'll probably definitely wait, but still! It's good to start thinking about it.

You should totally blow off your classes anyway. Road trip FTW! (It really only takes a day... ... ...)

Yeah. bleck. Though, I mean, if the SG-1 set isn't torn down (I think it might not be) I can believe they might take us at least to the gateroom. Or I can dream.

Yes on waiting but still, yes. And I think gold does go kinda fast (adn it's less than $600 and I know that's a boadload of money adn yet for some reason my brain is okay with that...but if I but it and Amanda doesnt' end up being there I will CRY)

(well, maybe my spring course schedule will be awesomely cooperative. you never know)

Sam/Jack telepathy fic - ooh! *perks up*

OK. Vancouver is even closer to me than to you, so yeah. I could be convinced. :D

eee! Yay!

Ooh, those fics all look very pretty. Especially the Sam/Ba'al one.

And I would love to go to Vancouver again, but it's a little out of my price range right now (especially with Dragon*Con).

Still, you should totally go because it is awesome! And if they really are making a third movie - which it sounds like they are - then there's a really good chance the SG-1 sets will still be up. That alone is worth the money.
