Sorry--I couldn't allow myself Tony/Pepper, as much as I WANTED to, but I did manage Hailey/Grogan, oddly enough. :-) _____
Finding people in the SGC wasn't difficult. There were only a few places people gathered that weren't their offices (or labs, if they had them). Grogan checked off his list as he wandered away from the infirmary.
Infirmary. He just came from there, so, no.
Commissary. He checked his watch. It was just past 1400, so it wasn't likely. He cruised by, just in case. Nope.
The main physics lab. People liked to hang out there because all the new weapons passed through it, but today it was strangely empty.
Ah. The gym. Sure enough, Hailey was there, bench pressing what had seemed like a ridiculously large amount of weight for someone her size the first time Grogan had seen it. He didn't make that mistake anymore.
Grogan found himself admiring her arms for a moment, and then Hailey racked the bar and sat up, looking at him with her customary inscrutable expression.
"Just get back?" She said. "I thought SG-9 came back a few hours ago."
Grogan shrugged. "Infirmary."
"Get shot again?"
Grogan sighed. "Zatted."
A small smile might have flitted across her face.
"McCabe's?"
"Sure."
"You're buying." There was definitely a grin. Hailey walked toward the door, and Grogan followed. "You gotta stop getting shot."
