You know how you get comfortable somewhere, or with something in your life, and that's when you get the news that you better start preparing yourself for possible change? That's my life right now--both at work, and at home. I don't really have any other details at the moment, so I'm going to be all cryptic here, but my role at work is definitely going to shift a bit (mainly, I think, in good ways), and I may be moving. Maybe. Like, so maybe that I ALMOST don't want to even put it in writing maybe. And if I do, it won't be far.

I decided to try to write at lest 10 minutes every day this year, keeping in mind that sometimes that wouldn't work. So far, I have done it! Over two thousand words on a long, epic Stargate fic that I'm not sure where it's going. I plan to keep poking at it, since that seems to provide opportunities for things to happen.

Also, I mentioned that re-watching Farscape was one of my 2013 goals, and since then I've been plagued by John/Aeryn shippy thoughts as well as the knowledge that trying to watch now would be fatal, as I have no extra time until summer starts. SOON, though. SOON.

P.S. Who else is watching The Lizzie Bennet Diaries? Hmm? Because we're getting to the Good Parts!

Farscape! \O/ It really does eat your brain. We did a rewatch when it came on Netflix here, and I have to admit that it's a little weird watching it knowing how all the John/Aeryn stuff plays out because so much of the later stuff plays on the chemistry the two actors have. (and then watching late season SG1 and seeing how much they tried *not* to play into that chemistry, but it doesn't work because they're both so comfortable on screen together).

LIZZIE BENNET, FTW!

Also, I always fail SO HARD at Farscape rewatches! I get to the start of season four and just die. I've done it twice in the last two years. It's very unlike me.

With LBD, I sometimes forget I'm watching a show. :-D

Oh, and re-watching shows often ends in the middle of a season somewhere for me, so I'm used to it! I still haven't managed to do a full, chronological watch of Stargate... EVER. Still, I keep telling myself that four seasons and a movie is going to be a piece of cake compared to 10 seasons and two movies.

YAY WORDS!

Fingers crossed about the other stuff. Sounds unnerving but mostly positive?

It's definitely unnerving, but I'm taking heart about all the opportunities that I have around it!

It is ALWAYS a good idea to rewatch Farscape! Though it makes all the new shows seem 2D.

Farscape is truly awesome! I... did what I normally do and had some other priorities come up... and haven't gotten back to my re-watch. I need to do that soon!
