Christmas Fic Game, Yes?

I know, I know. I'm terribly uninclusive to fandom. But dude, I am in agreement with [livejournal.com profile] nandamai--we need SG-1 Christmas fic, stat!

I'm thinking that since we're already delving into the land of the cliche by doing Christmas fic, we ought to say that anything goes--terribly sappy romances, cute and fluffy gen pieces, angsty OT4, surreal Santa-stalking fic...yes?

So here's the game:

Comment here with an SG-1 Christmas (or other winter holiday) fic prompt. I'll hold this open until tomorrow, December 20, at about this same time. I'll post the full list, and then we can write them!

EDIT for lack of instruction on prompt submission: I don't really care how prompts are submitted, but [livejournal.com profile] surreallis reminded me that people like rules. ;-) So, for now, we go, "Pairing (if any), prompt, any other instructions." The prompt can be one word, a scenario, lyrics, a picture (oh, my poor html skillz, they suffer for you!), whatever.

All pairings, cliches, ratings allowed. Multiple prompt submissions and multiple stories based on the same prompt are allowed. Commentfic as well as longer fic is allowed--more details to follow in tomorrow's post!

I think it is simple and brilliant!

Tell me of any issues you see with the schedule and/or game, please.

(or other winter holiday)

Ooh - a quick grab-bag for Diwali, Hannukah, Eid al-Adha, winter solstice, Chinese New Year, Festivus and Christmas:

Daniel, clay lamps
Daniel and Jonas (or Daniel/Jonas), closing accounts
Teal'c, re-dedicating the temple
Sam, Judith with a sword
Jack, willingness to sacrifice
Jacob Carter&Selmak and George Hammond, the end of a pilgrimage
OT4 (Original Flavor), the longest night is also the turning of the year
The festival crossover option -- Daniel: "Of course, this was originally a pagan tradition ..."
Bra'tac, Teal'c and Rya'c, shou sui
Cam & Teal'c (or Cam/Teal'c please), red for luck
Sam & Siler (or Sam/Siler), aluminum has a very high strength-to-weight ratio
Vala, "I've been reading up on your quaint little traditions; Darth Vader wasn't the only one ..."

Where no pairing's specified, feel free to make it gen or any pairing/threesome/multiple of your choice.
