Not sick, pirates, and memes

Okay--for all you concerned citizens out there, yes, I am feeling much better today. I actually slept really, really well, waking up early again, but falling asleep right away, and then waking up just a few minutes before my alarm went off. I really like being able to eat breakfast in the mornings. I need to remember that.

I finished the really awful pirate romance novel. The aquamarine-eyed heroine (who was only half-clad or less like...most of the book) and the dastardly pirate with gray eyes (who looked suspiciously like the Lord who was the heroine's actual husband) ended up happy. With TWINS. It's no wonder fic has characters giving birth to twins all the time. I like to think of them as a shortcut to the ideal of "big, happy family."

And Bean's probably rejoicing that she no longer has to hear my glee about this book.
