holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (Default)
I have started my [livejournal.com profile] dosomethinscary fic over. I now have 875 words in present tense, none of which match up with the previous 1600 words I had yesterday.

*sighs*

I have 17 things on my hiveminder to do list, including ficathons in the past, present, and future, baking (cookies this weekend, I think), Christmas shopping, cards, grocery-buying, dentist-appointment making, and various other things like "take pictures of my cats so I can show them off at parties on my phone with other pet-obsessed people when the occassion presents itself."

How did I manage to survive finals during this time of year again? There is just so much to do!

Oh, and I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] getyourwordsout, which is a challenge to write 200,000 words in a year. (At least, that's ONE of the challenges, which go up from there to 350,000.) Two hundred thousand works out to about 16,666 words per month, which should be doable...I think. I've been looking for something to motivate me to just keep writing words, though not as stressful as NaNo. I don't want that kind of pressure year-round, thank you.
