Jealousy and being sick
May. 7th, 2010 08:06 amYesterday I went home from work early, a good move since I spent the rest of the afternoon either trying to sleep (failure) or feeling miserable and sorry for myself, or, actually, both. I went to bed at seven, and woke up just after 11 pm with a fever of 100 F, Madonna stuck in my head, and jealousy about the fact that people all over the country were already watching Iron Man 2.
I'm looking at you,
besyd.
Anyway, my fever has gone down since then, and I feel better, but am staying at home to rest. Maybe I'll try watching Iron Man again today, as yesterday I kept getting distracted by having to blow my nose. (I also watched The Aviator, which was a bad move when sick, I think--it seemed interminable.)
