Jealousy and being sick

Yesterday I went home from work early, a good move since I spent the rest of the afternoon either trying to sleep (failure) or feeling miserable and sorry for myself, or, actually, both. I went to bed at seven, and woke up just after 11 pm with a fever of 100 F, Madonna stuck in my head, and jealousy about the fact that people all over the country were already watching Iron Man 2.

I'm looking at you, besyd.

Anyway, my fever has gone down since then, and I feel better, but am staying at home to rest. Maybe I'll try watching Iron Man again today, as yesterday I kept getting distracted by having to blow my nose. (I also watched The Aviator, which was a bad move when sick, I think--it seemed interminable.)

Slightly Less Popular TV: Holdouttrout Edition

I watch quite a bit of TV. In fact, I'm kind of in a TV renaissance, where I actually have shows I watch every week. Here are a few I think most of you aren't watching, and why I like them! These are shows that I consider "can't miss" but shows I don't necessarily feel the need to talk about in my journal, although I often discuss them with other people who also watch. I tried not to spoil anything beyond the first few episodes of each.
