Thoughts about Mary Margaret
Mar. 20th, 2013 11:37 amTo all the people who are wondering if it is really so black-and-white in fairy-tale land where you’re either good or bad and one wrong deed can make you irredeemably evil:
IT HAS ONLY BEEN ONE EPISODE SINCE MARY MARGARET TRICKED REGINA INTO KILLING HER OWN MOTHER. If I’d done what she did, I’d be lying around on my bed and/or begging to be put out of my misery, too. That doesn’t mean she will forever, and it doesn’t even mean she doesn’t understand grace. It’s just a lot easier to extend it outward than inward.
ALSO: Red Riding Hood and Jiminy Cricket. Both of whom did bad things and yet are “good guys.”
That being said: Evil Snow White story arc sounds kinda awesome.
