Summary: A misdirected text message makes Emma question Regina’s happy ending, leading to a fight, an awkward conversation with David, and a revelation. Set about two years after baby Neal is born, but there’s quite a difference between canon and this fic. Starts out with Outlaw Queen but there’s no real detail about that relationship. Also, something vaguely unfortunate happened to Hook a while before this story is set.

(Note: there is some vaguely uncomplimentary bits about Outlaw Queen that I myself do not actively agree with but felt worked within the story.)
