My bathroom sink has been draining slowly for ages and last night I was sitting in a warm bath, looking over at the sink and saw the little arm mechanism underneath the drain and thought... "I bet I can fix that, and I should do it now."

So I googled myself a YouTube video, watched it, dragged myself out of the bath and got various tools... and began one of the most disgusting 20 minutes of my life. I don't even want to think about what kind of gunk I cleaned out of that drain. You would think it was mostly hair, and you would be mostly wrong.

I will spare you any further details, but suffice to say, 20 minutes later my drain works like a charm.

Next on my list? The drain in the OTHER bathroom, and then fixing a dripping faucet. Surely that can't be TOO hard...

1. A clear and free-flowing sink drain.

2. Watching the Turkeys Away episode of WKRP in Cincinnati (despite never watching any of the other episodes, ever, in my life).

3. Having a house decorated with familiar Christmas decorations.

HOWEVER.

Christmas tree lights are the absolute DEVIL and deserve no quarter. Every SINGLE strand except one on that tree had a section of lights out and it took me an HOUR to take all those damn lights off my tree. The strand that was fine? Just long enough to go around the base of the tree ONCE.

Options: Christmas Light Tester or LED strands. If anyone has used the testers, let me know if they're worth it.
