I know it was probably just a fleeting thought and all, but it's really not too late to get into Computer Science. Also, the research and problem-solving skills you used to set up those computers are applicable to a lot more than CS-related fields.

Anyway, I'm sure I didn't say anything you didn't already know. I just felt compelled to give my point-of-view as one who did major in the field you mentioned.
