Why, you ask? Because if it weren't for you:

1. I would not have "Spending Time" on a record inside my head, playing in a continuous loop more often than not. It's your fault, even though it was a birthday present FOR you that I stole.

2. I would be a normal GSR shipper who wasn't watching CSI anymore, not an insane GSR shipper who is holding on to ambiguous phone calls and lab rat snarkiness to carry the show.

3. I would not be planning considering doing NaNoWriMo again.

4. I would not be obsessed with Physics of the Spin. I finally got around to reading it, and I'm hooked. Rory as McKay's daughter! It's completely odd and yet so. dang. interesting.

In other news, Gatecon's out. I have a prior committment that weekend. *sighs* I have this tendency to forget about what I already have scheduled, and then remember right after I schedule something conflicting. Like yesterday, when I forgot about a work event and planned to get together to walk with a friend. Yeah.

The work event was good, though--really good food, an interesting speaker, and wine. I like wine. *grins*

I always WANT to play ljdq, and always end up deciding I'm not funny enough. On-demand wit is not one of my strengths!

I just...I want to do remix, I think. Yes? I've never remixed before, so I'm nervous as heck! I haven't ever thought, "Okay, what would I do differently..." so I'm not sure it's for me. Ike! I should still do it though, right? ADVICE, PEOPLE.

I'm intrigued by the remix but a) not sure I qualify, and more so b) I've only done 1 single ficathon before, so I'm probably better getting more experience before attempting the insanity that is remixing. Hmm.

You have to have at least 5 stories in SG-1 or 5 stories in SGA to qualify. But ficathons routinely kick my butt...so there's only the matter of degree of butt-kicking involved on this one.
