I just signed up for
rowan_d's "Do Something Scary" multifandom fic and artathon!!. I was thinking I'd do original fiction, but I think I'm going to do NaNo anyway, so...I'm doing SG-1. Which, okay, not scary. But my idea is.
My idea: "The One in Which Sam is stuck on Abydos in an AU branching off from "Children of the Gods." Sha're/Sam/Daniel."
Yes. Sha're/Sam/Daniel.
So.
There you go.
In other news: My weekend was HOT. Like...too hot to sit next to a hot computer hot. Like, I actually went swimming in our pool hot. Like, I watched Continuum again at midnight because I couldn't sleep hot. Last night I figured out how to get my fan elevated so I could sleep on my bed, though. That was NICE.
I attended an engagement/graduation party yesterday. I made a spinach salad with pomegranate and blueberry dressing, Gorgonzola, almonds, and peaches. It was fabulous! I didn't have a plan other than "spinach and perhaps cheese." I'm glad it turned out. I even got several compliments on it, and I'm just not at all the person who usually gets compliments on what she brings to potlucks. :-)

Yea! Because sleeping on the floor ... not comfortable for the long haul.

The salad was inspired by my local farmer's market. Except for the pomegranate part. :-)

Date: 2008-08-18 03:03 pm (UTC)From:It's my not-so-secret show view that Sam and Daniel had lots of romantic chemistry especially in the early days, but he was married, and then they went the friends route and so...wonder twins are platonic. (Plus, I really liked the "team" dynamic anyway, so happy girl=me)
Anyway...this fic sounds very intriguing. Go you!
