“Fluffy Frankfort,” Cam announced rather proudly, and Sam tried not to chuckle at him.

Vala said, “I’m still not sure I understand the purpose,” eyeing them all carefully. She wasn’t entirely positive this really was an Earth tradition, or if they were all pulling her leg.

Cam glanced in the rearview mirror at Vala who was tucked in between Daniel and Teal’c in the backseat of the rental car. He explained it again, “You take the name of your first pet and the name of the street you grew up on—or in your case planet—and put them together.”

“Right,” she drew out the word. “But what’s the point of coming up with your adult film star name unless you actually intend to become an adult film star?”

“That’s not the point.”

Teal’c interrupted, “You may call me Tynik’labth’mormania Chulak.”

Cam exchanged a look with Daniel though the mirror. It was still difficult at times to determine when Teal’c was kidding or not.

“Um, kind of a long one, but memorable,” Cam said. “Sam, how about you?”

“Oh, no, I’m with Vala on this one.”

“Oh! Look!” Vala said as they passed the sign reading Las Vegas, Nevada. “We’re here!”

She practically climbed onto Teal’c’s lap in order to press her face to the window and take in all the sights. It was, after all, an overnight trip to celebrate her anniversary of joining SG-1 and Vegas had always fascinated Vala. It was Daniel’s suggestion that they should make it a team thing.

“Now remember,” Cam said, “they arrest people here for cheating.”

Vala replied, “Why are you only looking at me?”

“Huh. I wonder.”

But, but...I need to know what Sam's porn star name is! (I bet Jack knows.)

This was fabulous, but it really does call for a sequel. You know, where they drag Daniel to the Luxor and then drag him out again five minutes later because they can't listen to his rantings on the historical inaccuracies anymore. And Teal'c insists on seeing Siegfried and Roy. And everyone is shocked when it's Sam instead of Vala who gets arrested (for counting cards, I'm thinking.)
