Well, as you may or may not recall, I'm not the biggest fan of canon J/S ship. Heh (Fanon, whatever floats your boat--and I'm getting into reading some fics with the pairing, but canon--it makes me itchy).

So I asked what banner we should send to Brad...or if we should send chocolate or pepto bismol instead (meant to reference the food poisoning incident).

I think the reason it bugs me so much, tasteful banner or not, is because it smacks so much of entitlement, as though Joe is somehow obligated to accede to their demands. Do these people truly believe that Joe doesn't already *know* about the S/J shippers and what they want? I mean seriously, what purpose does the whole exhibition really serve beyond giving people one more reason to roll their eyes at us?

Whenever I see the 'confirmation' comments, I always wince, because obviously they are assuming that the confirmation will be positive. But what if they confirm... in the negative? THEN WILL THEY BE SATISFIED? I somehow think not...
