Dude. Sam and Zelenka trapped in an elevator. Okay, I don't quite get *shipping* them, but there was tension in there. And really good science-geek interaction. So happy! Also, any time Zelenka saves the day, I am thoroughly on board with the glee.

(And, just for the record, Sam is still smoking hot).

John and Teyla baby-bonding! I'm buying their friendship this season. Please be doing more of this. Also, Teyla--good move on not actually trying to climb anywhere.

Rodney/Katie was sad. So sad! Cute, but sad. And I really wanted Rodney to suck it up, just a little. He's getting better about being less pessimistic as long as there's something he can *do,* which made this situation so hard for him.

Onto the most important part of the episode:

OMG! HOW CUTE WERE RONON AND KELLER!!! Totally buying it. And hopefully not just because I'm a canon ship whore. I love Ronon more and more, and I'm just incoherent with squee about these two. So perfect! Little glances, and almost!kissing (TWICE!), and JAWS-derived ideas, and TALKING.

Here, have a Ronon/Keller ficlet:

He keeps injuring himself.

Keller tells herself that there's nothing suspicious about that. After all, he was in the infirmary several times a day before the lockdown, and the frequency of his visits hasn't changed at all.

Not that she's counting.

He hops up on the bed in one fluid, practiced motion. She gulps when he smiles at her--the little ironic one that says too much--and looks away to get water and a bandage.

She doesn't bother chiding him about the sparring anymore--it only got her more smirks, and she's not sure she can take any more. She dabs at the new gash, surreptitiously checking over yesterday's as she cleans out the dirt and blood. Ronon heals quickly, so there's not much to do, really. She winds the new bandage around his arm, conscious of the feel of his skin under her fingers and his eyes on her.

She doesn't notice the knowing glances of her staff, or of the few people who pass the infirmary's open doors.

There's nothing left to do, but her hands linger on his arm, and he catches her eye. Something about his amusement warms her, and she feels herself smiling back for just a second until there's a clatter behind her and she jumps, snatching back her hands and turning away from him to concentrate on putting things away, getting on with her job.

He gets down from the bed as gracefully as he does everything else, and he goes to leave, just barely brushing her arm with his as he leaves.

"See you tomorrow, doc," he says.

Keller nods a little too emphatically, and she just barely catches a look that has her tingling down to her toes. Then he's gone, and she's cursing herself. Tomorrow's too soon. She's running out of denial.

I watched the first four episodes of Supernatural, and I'm kinda meh about them. I'm not buying the world--it seems to easy. "Oh hey, people are dying in horrible/greusome/strange ways. Must be because of this completely unreal thing. And here's how to fix it."

There's other problems, too. Can someone give me an idea if I should hang in there a little longer or not?

Oooh! And X-Files! New Movie! SO HAPPY.

Yay! You wrote a little ficlet! Whee! :D :D

They are so cute, and they come from such opposite places. They're made for ship. And they make us learn new things about them. :)

Supernatural, although in the same sort of genre as X-Files, is really different. More horror-based, less skepticism, more about the relationship between family members. It's actually more like Poltergeist: The Legacy, if you've ever seen that. So if that doesn't appeal to you then the rest of the series won't do much for you. I love it for the supernatural horror (which is one of my favorite movie genres), the rock music and the awesomeness of Dean and his car. I was hooked by the end of the first disk, but i'm easy that way. ;)

I am, sadly, not too fond of Dean. Except when he's flirting. Or with kids--I thought his bit with the little boy in the lake one was really good. But I don't really like the brother stuff at all. Hmmm...

That seems to depend on whether you fall for Dean or not.

I drop in and out of SPN. Sometimes I like it. But I roll my eyes a lot.

So if I find Dean mostly annoying, I shouldn't bother? Hmmm...I may give it one more disc. Someday.

Seriously, Radek, checking Sam out when she took off her jacket? You are such a hypocrite. You totally gave Rodney the evil eye when he did that back in Reunion. Shame.

Nevertheless, Radek-falls-from-sky-to-save-day is certainly my idea of a good Atlantis episode.

And I am all over the Ronon/Keller. The are simply adorable.

Radek just wants her for himself. Plus, any excuse to give Rodney an evil eye is a good excuse.

You know, I generally don't make a habit of watching Atlantis, but I caught last night's and the Ronon/Keller might just drag me in. Tooo cute.
