holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (weather)
It's supposed to snow in the slightly higher elevations around here tomorrow and the next day. Not sure I believe them, but they just wanted to prove my hunch that we were out of the woods wrong. It didn't rain today on my way to work, at least.

I bought an external hard drive Monday, so I'll be able to, you know, save things on my computer again. 1TB! !!!

Okay, so today was the Day of Indulgence, and I *could* just point you to the comm and tell you that if you love Sam/Jack, you can just go crazy. Because that's true. Nevertheless, I will highlight [livejournal.com profile] pepper_field's fic, (Rarely) Pure And (Never) Simple, because it is the funniest thing I've ever read. Okay, so technically, Pepper sent this to me a while ago to "beta," which really meant "laugh my ass off at work."

Seriously, though, every single one of those fics is brilliant, unabashed cliche-fic at its best.

And the proof I am nuts? I actually signed up for [livejournal.com profile] thelittlebang today. So. 15,000 words of SG-1 femslash by June 30. I can do that, right?

Right?

I don't doubt it for a second, hon. A mere 15k in four months? Pah. *g*

1TB - is that one terrabyte? OMFG. They do them that size?

And, aw! *blushes* :)

They do them in bigger than that size, now, which BOGGLES THE MIND, doesn't it?

Well, it snowed quite heavily in the valley yesterday and we're back in the grip of winter here, so it's not inconceivable that you're going to/are getting the same system... happy snow! hah.

Yay Sam/Jack fic!

Yep. There was snow on the grass and the roofs and the cars this morning. Sheesh. I really thought we were done.

Piece o'cake. You can do it! *slips Vala into cheerleading outfit* The only hard part is figuring out where to break it to post it in parts.

Uh, you're still talking about hard drives, right? *has a case of magpie brain playing in the gutter*
