It's that time of year

ziparumpazoo mentioned it first, so now I feel like I have to do a ficathon update. *g*

Plus, it's Friday, and I'm...well, not exactly bored, but extremely unmotivated. Can I help it if all I want to do is go home and watch Bones? Really? (And why Bones, brain? Why?)

(Sidenote: Annerb, regarding CSI, Wendy+Hodges=Lurve. Totally.)

Oh, right. Writing. So...I had a hit and miss month in March, with probably a good third of the days boasting no writing whatsoever, and the others bearing the load. I actually still met my goal for the month of an *average* of 500 words/day. (January and February were good enough that I only have to write 500/day for the rest of the year, as long as my calculations are correct.) For April, my goal is to write something every day, and still get my average of 500/day.

jacksamfriends is DONE and submitted and oh, god, I hope people like it half as much as I do.

sjficathon is in the OH CRAP I HAVE NOTHING SUBSTANTIAL WRITTEN! phase. Right now, what I have written could turn into a longer story or get scrapped and turn into a beautiful short piece. *ahem* Nevertheless, I think my general idea is good. I just have to learn how to execute it and then actually write it.

EDIT: I totally forgot to mention that instead of working on the sjficathon fic last night, my brain decided to work on thelittlebang instead. Which, okay, yeah, I need to get that one done, too, but..come ON! First due, first done! Right? Right?

Hee. I'm actually not too bad at really insane goals--I tend to figure out how to meet them. (Although I still have PLENTY of the year left to screw up in.) It's the moderate ones I sometimes have issues with. *g*
