holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (brains_xlormp)
[livejournal.com profile] sg_fignewton wrote me a fic for my birthday, and it's hilarious team in one of my favorite cliches--captured and about to be sacrificed*. :-D Fig had asked me what I wanted, and impulsively I said, "swords!" There are no swords, but I think she went one better. Also, Teal'c pwns everyone, though when doesn't he? Attitude of the Knife, PG, team.

I have Hermione hair today. I kinda like it. I also helped my mother, currently reading through Harry Potter for the first time, remember how to pronounce Hermione by repeating it with her several times during dinner as if it were an incantation.

It's still hot. The website I like for temperature says it's 102 F. I haven't felt the need to go outside to check for myself. I may be going home, eating something, and heading to the library for a couple of hours. Or maybe I'll check into a hotel. I'm not joking about that.

In between rocking my job today, I've been reading Psychotic Letters from Men, which [livejournal.com profile] surreallis threw my way earlier this week. OMG. The scary thing about this site is that I know people personally who have stories like that. Thankfully, most men really aren't as bad as these guys.

Oh, and Stark Industries has an important press release.

*In case you don't think this is a cliche, I direct you to another of my favorite SG-1-about-to-be-sacrificed stories, SG-1 and the Valentine of Doom, by [livejournal.com profile] annerbhp which is a humorously gruesome Sam/Jack story.

There is something shiny in the sky. I think it might be the source.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY. GLAD SHE PLEASED YOU WITH YOUR 'GIFT'.

Haven't read THE BOOK YOU ARE READING BUT I'VE KNOW ENOUGH PSYCHOTIC MEN IN MY LIFE I'D AS SOON NOT READ ABOUT THEM--RATHER READ THE 2009 BEST EROTICA FOR WOMEN--A happier book.

You WANT to have Hermione hair?

Appreciate Stark's announcement--though since I have already bought all the weapons from LOTR which cost a small fortune--not in the market for any other weapons.

Sorry about the on again off again capS. MY COCKATOO ate the lock key so it comes and goes. SIGH

That does sound like a happier book, indeed. *g*

I'm not so sure I WANT to have Hermione hair as much as I happen to have it and don't mind it, because the idea amuses me.

I'm sorry about your capslock, but I'm quite amused by it. :-)
