It's that time again: time to squee!
Legend of the Seeker
Can anyone explain why LAST season Richard and Kahlan were all "If I die, I'll wait for you in the underworld?" Because um, I'm pretty sure that the underworld is the very, very last place I would want to wait around for anyone, no matter how much I liked them. I mean, the green decor is nice, but the writhing in naked agony part really doesn't thrill me.
I'm REALLY liking the Cara and Kahlan show. Hello, femslash brain! I mean, even with all the Confessor/Seeker angst (which hasn't subsided, but I've been SUCKED into it and no longer cringe (as much)), there's tons of room for them and their snarky, angsty lurve.
Also, I can't help it, I find the new Seeker kind of cute. TRAINING CHIPMUNKS. LOVE.
Also, my totally obvious prophecy: Kahlan's going to die. You know, or something else that would cause her heart to STOP BEATING, thus satisfying prophecy number Seeker Going to Destroy All Life with prophecy number new.
I honestly don't know how I can survive without a new episode before NEXT WEEK OMG.
Twin Peaks
Audrey is deliciously evil and manipulative and I kinda love her.
Cooper continues to delight me. He may just be weirder than Fox Mulder.
This show is so quirky! I'm really, really intrigued. It's not easy to pin it down at all.
Her log does not judge! I like the Log Lad's glasses: big, red frames. I had glasses kind of like that in junior high. I was STYLING. Okay, no, not really.
Loving the use of music in this show. Love it.
Okay, that ending is just cruel. Just... WHAT? Shooting Leo, people in other people's beds, another breakdown dance (NOT breakdance... well, mostly)? Argh. I'll just need to watch the next one.
