Give me a show, and I'll tell you 1) One of my favorite things about the show, 2) One of my least favorite things, 3) My favorite character, and 4) My least favorite character.

I suppose if I haven't seen the show, I can tell you why not, or I can answer the above with lies. *g*

1) Everything! One thing in particular, you say? I really enjoyed that it reveled in its own insanity, and would just head straight for the cliff and jump right on over where other shows would come to a screeching halt.

2) Um. Um. Um. Nothing? I guess sometimes I would have liked to be a *little* less lost? Maybe?

4) Um. Jool? Not because I dislike her that much, but... she's not as awesome as the rest?

1) I'd say Helen, except I'm using that for #3, but my favorite part by far is the characters--I love them, and their little glimpses of tortured angst!

2) I feel like sometimes Sanctuary is a little bit unpolished--Aby said recently that it sometimes felt like they didn't do the one final run-through on the script that would have made it more solid, and I think I agree.

3) Helen. I just love her sense of humor, and the fact that she's (normally) very sure of herself. I want to be her when I grow up.

4) Kate. *waits for flaming arrows from surrounding populace* I'm sorry, but I just don't like her that much. It's not anything in particular, though, and I suspect she'll grow on me.

#4? WORD. I do not like her and I don't think she'll ever grow on me.

I cannot wrap my brain around how easily she was accepted by the Sanctuary denizens when she was complicit in Ashley's disappearance and then death. WTFrakityF? Are they on crack???? They took her in way too quickly.

Do not like. Show began to lose something for me then because I've lost my willing suspension of disbelief.

Hmm. You know, that's definitely one of the things that drove me crazy about her character, but to me that's a writing issue. I can see the role she's trying to fill... I just don't see her filling it.

1) The sweet, melancholy feel to the series. It's a very simple style to tell a great story.

2) That there wasn't more? Cop-out, I know... but it's been a while since I've seen it, too.

3) Hmmm. Like I said, it's been a while, but I'm fairly sure my answer's the same: Reki. I have a thing for tortured souls.

4) Er... I have no idea. I'm sorry!

1) The obviously family feel of the characters. I love how they are all interconnected and kind of stumble their way through things together.

2) The unrelenting UST. I mean, I love it, too, but COME ON.

3) I have a thing for Sweets. He's just so adorable and a total fanboy!

4) Hmmm... well... I guess... *scratches head* Well, on a purely "If they left the show it wouldn't devastate me" note... any of the interns, I guess. (but I love them, too!)

1) ZOMG. I have a weakness for convoluted, messy, ridiculous sci-fi plots. (See LOST.) FF delivers it ALL--secret conspiracies, time-travel (of a sort), and free will vs. destiny!

2) I wouldn't use that, anyway. I think my least favorite thing at the moment is who the mole is. BAH.

3) My favorite character... hmmm... NOT Mark. Actually, my favorite until this latest ep was Janis. I'm waiting to see if she still is a little further down the road.

4) I have a feeling about Mark. I think maybe he'll start to fill this spot for me. Currently, however, it's Lloyd. Not because he's a bad person, but because he doesn't DO anything.

I've seen a couple eps of Dexter (which I found morbidly fascinating), but I think I'll go with Big Bang Theory.

1) The way that Penny is getting dragged (sometimes willingly) into the twisted realm of geekdom.

2) It needs more girls (though there are several good ones!).

3) Favorite to watch? Sheldon. Favorite as a person? Leonard. Most of the time.

4) Howard. I find the humor for his character skeevy a good deal of the time, and am thankful that usually his suggestions go awry in various ways.
