There has been a recent spate of postcards to and from members of SG-1, that somehow seem to find their way to our mailboxes. It appears that SG-1 is taking a well-deserved vacation and traveling around the world, seeing the sights, getting into trouble. Due to an addressing mishap*, I just received this lovely postcard from Vala, to Sam. It says:
Dearest Sam-
What an interesting little town this Santa Barbara is. Very relaxed, lots of bikinis, and an awful lot of wine tasting rooms! (Makes people a bit careless with their valuables.) I think you should ditch the Hammond and the atrocious flight suit and join me down here. And if you drank too much wine, by chance, I'd be sure to keep an eye on your valuables. I promise.

I'm quite jealous, never having been wine tasting, and I think Sam is crazy for not taking Vala up on her very generous and selfless offer. *g*
