Collecting, part 2: Blankets and tents, oh my!

Last week, we explored the wonderful world of Aliens Made Them Do It fic.

This week, we'll be touching on that old standby of UST afficionados everywhere:

OMG! We Have to Share a Bed/Blanket/Tent!

That's right. Due to inclement weather/catastrophe/laziness/cultural misunderstandings/whatever your two favorite characters end up in closer proximity than they normally would. This particular cliche allows guilt-free snuggling with the added possibility of pr0n.

This used to be one of my favorites in the Pretender fandom--it was a great excuse to get Miss Parker and Jarod, two characters who were rarely in the same state, let alone the same building, to have to interact face-to-face.

Today, I'm going to start us off with:

Sleepless by Jojo
This story is unusual because it's not about the pr0n, but about the characters involved and the way they interact when no one's around. They're still damnably honorable. Sigh.

A Lapse of Gravity by astolat

Sam/Teal'c/Daniel, hard R-ish (with a hint of impending OT4 at the end). This uses the "Forced To Share Body Heat!" form of the cliche. Lovely story.

Not that I *read* OT4 or anything, but that really is beautiful. I love Jack in that fic--he's so smart!

And Sam...it's a great look at her mental processes, and how she comes to terms with EVERYTHING.
