holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (insert_plot_here)
1. Why is it that sometimes, when I'm stressed, my eyes start... twitching? ARGH. Eyes, you are not helping!

2. How annoying is it to wake up early and go back to bed for some much-needed sleep, only to find yourself aware that you are not asleep for the next forty minutes?

3. How in the world did Once Upon a Time get successfully pitched? It's a straight-up action-adventure fantasy about fairy tales. On my TV. That I like.

4. Why is it that good, awesome fic ideas so seldom linger around for things like sleep and free time? I am sorry, awesome fic idea for SG-1 and/or Sanctuary that I can no longer recall.

5. Is not The Hunger Games trailer one of the best trailers ever? It was so good that I broke my "one watch only" rule and watched it TWICE. TWICE, people. I did not even realize I liked The Hunger Games that much, but apparently I did! I now find myself thinking crazy things like, "Maybe I should re-read the series." You know, in all my spare time.

# 2 is [*sigh*] a way of life with me lately. I'm a night owl, and my husband gets the kids up and off to school and leaves for work while I am still sleeping.

That's the theory. Of late our youngest has been so dawdle-y that my husband and she have been making Loud Points at each other. I wouldn't mind that much, because I'm perfectly capable of waking to the stimulus, turning over, and going right back to sleep. I'm good at that. It's just that if there's a question of whether she made the bus, then I lie awake and listen... and listen... and listen... for a bus that is long gone, child and all.

So anyway, you have my heart-felt sympathy. I know just how annoying that can be!

I KNOW! I AM STILL NOT SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED! BUT I LIKE IT!

(Let's face it, the conversation probably went like this:

"So, wemade LOST"
"YOU'RE HIRED!")

The Hunger Games Trailer is in my top five for sure. It's brilliant. OMG, WHEN WILL IT BE "THE HOBBIT"?

I'm sure the conversation went exactly like that.

Also also also the apple thing is really bugging me. Like we can't tell the difference? Even in the tiny hulu screen, I can spot a Not!Honey Crisp Apple from 30 paces.

1. Tense muscles pinch nerves.
2. Only slightly less annoying than falling back to sleep ten minutes before the alarm actually goes off and feeling worse than if you'd gotten out of bed 40 minutes before.
4. Their fickle nature. And also, they are easily lured away by candy.
5. I am the only person in the world who did not know about the book series and now I'm afraid to read it because what if I don't like it? But, the trailer looks very interesting.

1. Yes. BAH.
2. Definitely less annoying, though.
4. Those ^*#(!#$s.
5. Watch the movie first, then! Problem SOLVED. *is brilliant*

Ooh, I hate when my eyes twitch. So annoying! But less annoying then being woken up at 5:30 AM by the phone ringing - a client on the east coast calling, who can't be bothered to look me up in the company directory and see that I am in the PACIFIC time zone. Grrrrr.

Aw, I am sad for awesome fic ideas that went poof. Maybe they'll drift out there in the ether and land on someone else.

HG trailer is fabulous. *watches again*

I will never forget the time I called a client at 3:30 AM because I forgot about time zones. You do it once, and then you hopefully NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

I really hope the fic idea does! I know it was really super awesome, and I don't think that was just because I was tired...

I... how am I supposed to wait until March 23?

1. It's so irritating when that happens! I had it yesterday, actually. The weirdest part for me is that when it's a stress-twitch (as opposed to a sleep-deprivation one), I don't otherwise feel stressed at all.

3. And it has so many leading ladies! This is madness.

5. Totally is. I had slid back to not super excited, and now I'm all bouncy again.

1. Hee! I definitely feel stressed. Actually, this one is pretty amusing, because if my stress suddenly shoots up, my eye starts twitching madly away! It's definitely better today, though.

3. MADNESS I SAY.

5. :-D

1. Happens to me when I'm tired. Because, you know, I'm not having enough problems seeing then.

2.Erm, this doesn't happen to me. I can sleep. Anywhere, anytime. One of the benefits of being perpetually sleep-deprived? (see 1.)

3. Okay, so I've see some folk talking about this, and initially it had sounded like a show I would like, but then the trailer looked silly, but then I saw you liked it, and, um, I'm just watched all four episodes, and I did not need another show to watch. (Also, I think they were like, 'We did Lost' and ABC was like 'Yes, please.')

4. Damn that RL.

5. Now I need to figure out what this is all about. Tomorrow.

1. I know, right?

2. Yeah... that's never been one of my talents, sad to say. So jealous!

3. I have already re-watched two episodes. It's a sickness!

4. Amen.

5. :-D
