The meme post was over here, and I finally finished tonight! :-)

kedd wanted Helen/Nikola

1. When or if I started shipping them:
In a snarky immortal sex sort of way? Almost immediately. In an actual relationship kind of way? Sanctuary for None, part 2, because most of their moments were Nikola pushing and Helen saying no... or they were more or less platonic.

2. What I think their challenge is:
Nikola's tendency to try to take over the world and restore the former glory of the vampire race. Helen's single-mindedness.

3. What makes me happy about them:
Snark! Also... despite the fact they've been out of touch for quite a while, they rely on each other's presence in a world that sort of flows around them.

4. What makes me sad about them:
That they lost touch for so long, and that they keep LOSING PEOPLE, damn it!

5. What moment I wish had never happened:
Um... when he went for the Source Blood after Ashley.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
Well, I sort of answered this for Helen (just about anyone), but I think for Nikola... I don't know that there's really anyone else for him. :-(

7. My happily ever after for them:

annienau08 said it already: "Nikola joins her at her new Sanctuary and they go on bantering and discovering and oozing chemistry for decades to come." :-)

and Parker/Hardison

1. When or if I started shipping them:
I think they're adorable and I'm pretty sure that as soon they were a viable canon ship, I signed on. I mean, Hardison is so cute about her, and Parker's sort of adorably screwed up, too.

2. What I think their challenge is:
That they might possibly underestimate how many issues they both have and think it's going to be easy.

3. What makes me happy about them:
Their teasing, their looks, the way that they somehow end up needing to be very, very close to pull off their objectives. Also how they rely on each other.

4. What makes me sad about them:
Hmm... nothing?

5. What moment I wish had never happened:
I have no answer for this question.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
Eliot. :-)

7. My happily ever after for them:
For them to eventually retire to a quiet little place where they can both snark at each other and the others can come over and shake their heads and then one of them will convince the others to do just one more job. (Look, it's a team thing.)

annienau08 wanted Han/Leia

1. When or if I started shipping them:
Somewhere around the time they shared the screen, maybe having to do with this line: "Someone has to save our skins. Into the garbage chute, fly boy."

2. What I think their challenge is:
Do you want me to answer from an EU perspective or just the trilogy? Actually, I guess it doesn't actually matter. Either way, they're going to end up in WAY too many political situations to suit Han, and Leia's going to have to become a bit more flexible with regards to Han's past/desire for expediency.

3. What makes me happy about them:
SNARK. Wait. Is that a theme? I sense a theme somewhere. Also, I like that Leia does a lot (though not all) of the rescuing.

4. What makes me sad about them:
Um. Uh... Sad? Can you be sad about Han and Leia? I mean, they won in the end!

5. What moment I wish had never happened:
I got nuthin.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
Leia/Chewbacca FTW! Okay, no, I'm pretty much not okay with them ending up with anyone else.

7. My happily ever after for them:
For them to run around saving the galaxy and snark at each other and never lose anyone they love. *hugs them*

kayim wanted Sam/Daniel

1. When or if I started shipping them:
Honestly, I ship Sam/Daniel WAY more in fic than on the actual show. I have timing issues with shipping them within canon, but I really, really love their interactions as friends--as deep, close friends that share a crazy job and who love the science a lot, too.

2. What I think their challenge is:
Timing. Daniel's married at first, and then he dies, and then he's... well, I think after he returns he's still trying to figure out what's going on with him, and there's Pete and Sarah, so... timing.

3. What makes me happy about them:
Their love for Science!

4. What makes me sad about them:
That they drifted apart in seasons 9 and 10, at least, according to what we saw. MAYBE (Annie) they really had many long, sciency conversations that we just didn't get to see!

5. What moment I wish had never happened:
What about a moment I wish HAD happened? Like, say, Ascended!Daniel saying hi to Sam at some point, hmm?

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
Daniel: Sarah (look, her hair makes me say crazy things), or... Vala.
Sam: Well, Jack, duh, or Teal'c, double-duh, or Cam, or Pete, or... Vala. *g*

7. My happily ever after for them:
That in a couple of years they sort of realizing that they've been relying on each other forever, and they hadn't really thought about it, but now that they HAVE it makes perfect sense. And then they can have brilliant, beautiful babies.
