Me, as of two minutes ago: ACK! Why is no one talking about last night's Castle yet?!

If anyone responds at all, there will be spoilers in the comments.

Clearly, I need to get caught up on Castle. :-D

I don't have TV (the receiver needs to be upgraded and don't have it yet) and I completely forgot until around noon today that there was a new episode on last night (I know..bad fan!) but I thought it was a good episode.

My favorite part was when Castle was talking to Bracken outside of the interrogation room after Beckett saved the Senator's life. *chills*

Because I watched it, went to bed, went to work, and am only now able to comment! :)

Also, yeah, that was an interesting episode for Beckett. Creepy and concerning, but I'm glad in the end she did the right thing. And we all know she'll need to call on Bracken for a favor one of these days . . . that will be an explosive episode.

I was so tired last night, Hubs basically led me to bed (not in a fun way, sadly) around 8:30pm, so we didn't watch it until tonight. But!

I LOVED that this is where the writers took this storyline - I had been getting concerned about this plot thread, and I think this is a great way to complicate the situation in a way that's fresh. I mean, I know it's been done elsewhere, but I just really love the way they've handled this. I love that Bracken is still a bad guy, but he's a layered bad guy. I love that Beckett had some realistic conflict and yet stayed in character.

I thought that it was a mite out of character for Castle at the end there to not endorse Beckett's story of the frame-up - isn't that kind of his thing? Writing the most interesting story to fit the evidence, and not the suspect in custody? So that was a bit washy to me, but other than that, I was very pleased. (And Castle got in a great line at Bracken towards the end: "Almost how you'd do it.")

Also - I'm not sure I believe Beckett and Castle are still in a relationship. No cuddles? Come on, Castle!

So, do you think that Esposito has gotten very hard recently, or is that just me?

And yay, Castle got to take his coat off for the first time in months! He must have been getting warm. (Am I the only one who has noticed that they keep him in long coats to cover his weight gain? Yes?)

Also: WORF! But no Alexis or Martha. Sad.
the only show i hear about these days is Downton Abby. I don't even hear about that crazy vampire show anymore...True blood?

I love castle but still haven't gotten ahold of season 4 to be able to watch the current season...

I thought it was great! I was swamped yesterday and didn't get chance to post anything, but I did just now. I was so impressed with Stana Katic's acting in this, I mean, the cast is always very good. But this one stood out to me as an epic job on her part. It was such an interesting idea to put the character in the position that they did, well done to the writing team as well.
