Well, I actually opened the file this morning, and...it's not as bad as I thought. :-) I now have almost 4K words, still no real ending, but I know where I'm going, I think, and the changes to the story I already had are done. Although, ironically, the smut has been pushed back farther into the story, as I decided to do away with the non-linear structure. I realized that the whole last half of the story wanted to skip the timing changes. Oh well. Someday I'll write something more interesting in form.

I need to flesh it out, add description, dialogue.

Right now I'm working on the transition to the smut. :-)
