Words: 3,709 (after cutting down past 2K, so I wrote about 2K over the weekend).
Plot: FOUND! (I know, I've said this before. but I think I mean it this time!)
Character who gets treated the worst: Vala.
Ending: Looking grim.
A good way of getting rid of Teal'c and Cam: still looking.
Number of kisses that need to be taken out so as to not make Jack seem (overly) like an asshole: Two.
Effect on the level of smut: Negligible.
I received a worrisome message from my soul bit this morning. Seems it has been having too much fun and would really rather prefer to never come back and instead hang out with all the other soul bits at Jenn's place. I think it's enjoying the Jack smut a bit too much, personally. And it might be getting some ideas about slash...

And all the other soul bits vibrate in shock at losing their Jak Smutz until they realize they can throw Jak in the middle for extra special OT3 action.
And all is again right in the world.
