1The only thing I would add is about people commenting on posts solely to direct you to their own posts (e.g on a post about Sneeze-headed wheezles, someone comments, "I wrote a piece about Gheeze-headed wheezles over here!" I find this unbearably rude. They should, of course, comment and say, "Excellent post! I found this particular paragraph quite fascinating. Did you know that Gheeze-headed wheezles act totally differently? I wrote something about it here, if you'd like to read it." That way, I get an ego-stroking, and I get to read their ever-so-amusing post on Gheeze-headed wheezles, which I will then link back to in a fit of ETA like you've never seen.)
2That is, only if you want to. Really, what you ought to do is go give other people love so I can get all misty-eyed at how much we love each other in a bond that is stronger than a really strong thing!
