I got myself tagged for the 7 interests meme by commenting on ivylore. Please, please don't ask me to ask about yours. I should be writing fic. However...this was fun. Seven of my interests--explained.

1. angsty armageddon smut:

This one is easy. It's angsty. It's armageddon. It's smut. What's not to love? Specifically, though, an apocalypse is a surefire way to get two particularly stubborn characters to get it on. Especially these two:


2. badfic!pete:

Uh. Well. I'm not sure my descriptive powers can do this justice. badfic!pete is the nemesis of all Sam/Jack shippers. He will abuse poor, ickle, (man-eating!!!) Samantha, and generally requires the heroic, manly Jack to deal with him by (most often) beating him up. He then coincidentally gets run over by a car.

But...that's *my* interpretation of badfic!pete, and I *think* there's some connotations I'm missing, seeing as I'm a newbie 'round these parts. However--he really doesn't deserve the amount of censure he gets. See pic for "awwww."


3. cameron mitchell's pants:

Actually, this should be "Cameron Mitchell *sans* pants." It would be much more accurate. I tried to find a good picture to help explain, but this will have to do:


4. end of the world:

Closely related to angsty armageddon smut. Also--how many ways can you think of to end the world? Lots. Lots and lots and lots. And they are all valid fic plots.

5. fannish feminist rage:

Because sometimes it sucks being a girl, and that isn't right.

6. mushroom clouds:

Again. Apocalypse. Smut. Angst. What's not to love? And the image is just so iconic. (See icon)


7. sam-and-daniel-in-the-supply-closet:

Because--as much as I don't see Sam/Daniel on screen, I totally respect this as a valid pairing choice, and will read good Sam/Daniel fic. Also, isn't it a bit unfair that Sam and Jack get all the good closet smut?

I too have extreme love for apocafic :D

In fact I have ending_the_world_for_porn listed as one of my interests (alas! I'm still the only one on LJ ::shocked face::)

And yes! Rabid-insane-shippers-who-flip-their-shit-defending-their-OTP-from-all-rivals are to be mocked and we should so organise marches with placards and slogans!
