holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (Sam_angry)
[livejournal.com profile] history_spork's commentary on '300' made me giggle to the point where I might not actually hate my roommates for loving this movie anymore.

They are artists, you see. ;-)

I have absolutely nothing against the fact that my roommates are artists--they are quite talented and do things like hang their paintings on the walls, which I find awesome and convenient. But they lurve '300,' and I find it ridiculous at best, upsetting and maddening at worst. So I have to hole up in my room while they watch it.

Oh, yes.

The guys at D*Con obviously worked very hard for theirs--I find them much more impressive than the movie, actually.

Have you seen [livejournal.com profile] sockkpuppett's "300" video set to Madonna's "Vogue", which she summarizes with the words, "Bite me, Frank Miller"?

I believe many people have found it therapeutic.

Yes. Very therapeutic. :-)

Gotta love how well that song works with the images.
