It's that time again--time to bore you all with my accomplishments in a traditionally feminine sphere!
There's a party tomorrow, and I needed to make something for it. Thus, the following:
This is roasted sweet potato salad with black beans and chili dressing, and I think the picture captured the utter deliciousness of this dish. When I finished putting it all together, I just about died. It's definitely the prettiest thing I've made yet. (It also smells and tastes divine. *g*) The only thing I think it could use is a bit more spice.
This is a faux tortilla espanola. Regular tortilla espanola has potatoes, onions, and eggs, and you make it on the stove. This has green onions, chives, sour cream, cheese, red and green bell peppers, potatoes, and eggs, and it's made in the oven. I haven't tasted it yet, because it needs to be in good shape for tomorrow, but it smells awesome.
