naos

USS Naos, whose debut album smash upon the rock gods made a respectable, if low-key, dent on the charts, continues to deliver lush, romantic melodies and hushed harmonies in have us forget summer, their second album. Summer is better technically than smash, and it's also refreshingly unpretentious, lending itself well to the background, unafraid it will be lost in today's noisy world. And Naos, for all their somber, earth-driven tracks like "at two," knows how to have fun, as in the sparkling, witty, "warmblooded furniture."

It's a Finnish heavy metal band, definitely.

"Warmblooded furniture"? *g*

That album title fits perfectly with the picture. And that really sounds like an album review. Heh.

Yeah. Hence the cut title. ;-) I spend way too much time reading reviews, apparently.

Let's see--I got "at two" by looking up nature-related quotes, and there was something having to do with cats on that page, too, so I typed in 'cats' to find that cats regard humans as warmblooded furniture. :-D

Yay, you did the meme too! I can't believe how well the album titles match the pictures - spooky!

I think you have a new calling as album reviewer. :)

Yeah. The pictures--well, partly it's the write-up. But even so, it's eeeeeeeerie.
