Other people do thoughtful meta and stuff. I squee.

"Colonels"--bwa!

Yay for a good, tense, and yet somewhat hilarious briefing scene.

There are THIRY-EIGHT Wraith ships? Come ON, people.

Rodney is...dumb. I knew this was coming when the block wouldn't...stick. And I think it's...morally gray. Hello, Atlantis!

Sam and She are so CUTE! "Just what this day needs. More curve balls.

I....may...have come around to this Larrin chick. I like that they're playing the humor up. And, you know, making her competent.

Rodney's hair DOES keep getting fluffier through the episode!

Oh, RONON. PLEASE BE NOT SO HOT. (Also, his scene with Teyla about the pregnancy? So wonderful! And Shep's reaction made perfect sense to me, too--he does tend to overreact.)

GODZILLA!!!!

OH SAM!!! And Rodney, "We are geniuses!" And Sam's ridiculously pleased grin. You KNOW she loves that. And Sam felt almost exactly spot-on to me the whole time, except when she didn't snap at Rodney. Plot? Why must there be plot?

EVIL WEIR!!! Or maybe not. But whatever, it doesn't matter!

you left out "Sam kicks a$$ and takes names" when she goes all alpha male on the schmuck talkin' bad to "her people"

*hugs Sam*
*loves Sam*

tptb finally figured out what to do with her!

still wish Larrin was a more charismatic actress. esp since she'll be back. Did anyone else catch John openly learing down her shirt while he was tied to the chair???

Honestly, I was more excited about the science geekery. *loves*

And yes, John totally leered. A nice note, I thought--most people just sort of ignore the Glaringly Awful Cleavage.

I've always pretty much liked Larrin.

Yes! He was totally looking down her shirt as she was leaning over him!

I love that John is such a dork! I believe that he never sees it coming, but now that he's actually attracted? Doesn't have the first clue what to do about it.

Loved her "Don't call me, I'll call you" thing.

And she told him not to worry his 'pretty little head' about it. That was made of AWESOME! Haaa!

Hee! Yes, a bit of gender-flip there, which was great!

Larrin's more butch than John! Bwah!

That line allowed moved me from the "meh she is fine" to "made of win".

He does have a very pretty head. If nothing else, I like Shep for that.

RONON AND TEYLA WERE SO OMG AWESOME!

And Sam kicked ass when her people were threatened and teamed with Rodney at the end and Zelenka and, yes, morally grey, but at least they sortof acknowledged the dubiousness.

Yeah, 38? 37? Replicator ships seemed a tad ridiculous.

I'm REALLY curious to see what they do with Weir. It could go either way and I'm SO EXCITED.

I was more amused at the specificity of thirty-eight. tee hee.

I am also very excited about what's going to happen with Weir now, too. And at least they acknowledged the moral dubiousness of what they were doing this time.

Yay for pure Sam awesomeness! Did you see the totally amused look on her face when Larrin made that comment about John sitting in the chair on her ship? I'm not a huge Larrin fan... but suddenly pictured Vala vs. Larrin, and how Vala would run circles around her. Oh I want SG-1 to come play on Atlantis.

OH SAM!!! And Rodney, "We are geniuses!" And Sam's ridiculously pleased grin

Hee, finally Sam gets to get some geek babble in! I miss Scientist!Sam so much, even though Commander!Sam is amazing as well... but the whole ep with Rodney being in a "dry spell" just made me yell "Ask Sam for help!!!"

And Ronon was adorable.

There is no contest between Vala and Larrin. But still, Larrin was alright this time around.

Ronon gets more adorable every episode.

I posted my episode commentary last night (http://kimberlyfdr.livejournal.com/301869.html), like always. Also posed some questions to Gero and Mallozzi, so we shall see if they answer them :) The episode got me pondering.

I love Mallozzi's blog, and I like the Q & A sessions. They're very fun--and sometimes they're really snarky.
