My mom and I are both playing and we’ve been playing on our morning walks, which makes the walking part less effective but is a lot of fun. Yesterday, however, I learned that she is playing at least another hour per day, which explains why she was at level 20 and I was only at level 15.
Today, we took my dad as our lookout/watermelon hauler, went to the Saturday market where there happen to be a crap ton of pokestops and went to town. She’s still (barely) level 20, but I managed to hit level 17. She thanked me repeatedly for going with her and stopped to chat with a nice middle-aged man about his level 25 pokemon and his best tips and tricks.
So not only do I get to feel like a great daughter for spending “quality time” with Mom while we both play a video game, but I also get to feel happy that she is getting outside and walking again, which makes her happier overall. It’s a win-win.
