Haha! I certainly didn't spend all my free time this week getting obsessed with a puzzle and almost forget about Farscape. Nope. Not me!
Back and Back and Back to the Future
You know, I was about to say I have no knowledge of this episode, but then I saw John's "distracted" face and I was like… oh. Right. This one.
Zhaan and Aeryn talking about how weird John is being and then brushing it off as him just being Crichton is both exactly right and also shows how they aren't quite used to each other yet. I mean… later on they would totally dismiss him once but (probably) not twice.
Zhaan is just… so pretty, and the makeup for her is gorgeous, too. I can't even imagine how much work all that makeup is.
I'm very torn about Aeryn's outfit in this episode. I mean, it's completely unnecessary to have her in a sports bra baring her midriff but… yeah.
Matala's accent is absolutely grating.
I adore how irritated Crichton is about seeing the future. He has no patience for explaining himself, and he has no gift for it, either. And yet, when he needs to convince D'Argo that Matala is bad news, and the only way to do that is to bring up information that D'Argo never told him and doesn't want anyone to know, he shows compassion. Such a nice touch for his character.
Thank God it's Friday… Again
I love John's "hiding spot" that would only work on television. Heh. I also think he should be flattered that D'Argo thinks he's enough of a male to… rage against?
"She gives me a woody," Aeryn says, demonstrating that they're all rubbing off on each other.
Do you think that John's decided that since he doesn't know the "right" thing to do (when being introduced to other beings) so he might as well be ridiculous and throw around peace signs?
Ooooh I JUST realized why the outfits the Rajneeshees wore (I just watched a documentary about them) looked so familiar.
Poor John. People are always putting weird things in his body: translator microbes, dentics, weird worms…
