Okay, I've had enough of *mutter mutter mutter* <----censored output that includes the mention of "tax season" and "misogyny" and "work in general."

On the other hand, I can't stop staring at this photo of RDA. It's the hair. And the down-turned face with the half-smile and the sadness. And the soft brush of the eyelashes against his skin. It's very peaceful, whereas I normally think of Jack as very vibrant and aware.

*is rambling on a bit much*

He has such nice eyelashes. *sigh*

I'm not sure what it is about that scene, but I find Jack more than usually attractive in it. For that matter, I was staring at the Paradise Lost one yesterday and trying to figure out just why I find him so irresistably good-looking in that. What exactly is so extra attractive about a bit of stubble and some smudges?

I don't know, but I like them, too. A lot. Mmm...slightly dirty males.

I am totally jealous of thick, full eyelashes. My bro got the genes for them between us. *sighs*

Yeah, my brother got the better eyelashes and hair, too, damn him. It's deeply unfair, isn't it? Still, he has my dad's beetling eyebrows, too, so that serves him right. :)

I don't know about Paradise Lost, but I'm usually pretty immune to RDA hotness and that episode grabs me hard.

It's the stubble and the dirt and the rolled up sleeves and the bare feet and the lighting and the Man In Nature and just....mmmmm

It's odd, isn't it? Because I'm totally grabbed by it, but when I stop to analyse why... I don't exactly know. It's something that bypasses my conscious mind entirely. It's intriguing.

Instinctual selection! The manliest, most virile men are obviously the ones that are the dirtiest!

I think he's at his wounded/attractive best. There's this odd, wistful quality to him.

Wistful! Yes, there is, isn't there. He's a potent combination of brooding and dischevelled and pared-down surviving on his own.

Mmmmm...vulnerable, worried Jack.

This post was a great idea. *g*
