I just had to say that I'm about halfway through Sacrifice Moon and OMG is it good.

*curls up with book*

(Oh, and I've totally made myself a fake book cover for covert work-break reading. The title? How to Win at Everything.)

Yay! I adored Sacrifice Moon!

Enjoy!

I did! The Sam and Daniel stuff...GAH! Totally in love with the character development, and I felt that the author had an excellent grasp on Jack. Teal'c, too! I mean, he DID stuff!

Teal'c, too! I mean, he DID stuff!

Yes! That struck me, too - he's not just there. It's quite wonderful. And a sad contrast to a lot of other stories - fanfic, book, and some eps.

I *really* loved Sacrifice Moon. Actually, I've enjoyed almost all the tie-in books that I've read so far -- Trial by Fire was really fun as well, same as the 2-parter A Matter of Honor/The Cost of Honor. :)

I've only read City of the Gods and Sacrifice Moon so far, but I liked the first okay, and I really loved the second.

I have two more, so far. :-)

I'm reading Siren Song now and I'm finding it kinda meh -- so much so it's taking me ages to finish. But the Honor books? Man, those were my favorites so far. They're post-Abyss and full of all sorts of angst, what can be better than that? :)

*has lots to look forward to*

That's the only one I've read, and it is good!

It works out just like an episode, a wonderful teamy episode. Augh. Now I want to reread it and I already have two books in progress.

It was--it was a bit creepy, too, what with the whole dying thing.

But awesome.

I loved that one! But I actually liked all of the SG-1 novels I've read :)
Sabine C. Bauer's are my favorite ones so far.

I'm very much looking forward to reading more.

The only one I've read is Roswell, which I both loved and hated. Just don't read it after reading a half-dozen Doctor Who novels in a row.

I can safely promise to not read any Doctor Who novels.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Doctor Who novels, but the rules for time travel are way different.

I had that problem. I'm used to Doctor Who time travel rules, so for most of the book I was going, "You can't do that! It doesn't work that way!!!" It drove me bananas. :)

I've read a lot of the Fandemoniun SG-1 novels, and the only one I didn't like was Roswell. But there's a couple I've stayed away from because I heard bad things about them, like City of the Gods and Siren Song. The Honor books are very good, but I think my favorite is Alliances. Great Sam/Jack and Jack/Daniel interaction, though the beginning is a little weak and Teal'c doesn't figure in it very much.

City of the Gods was okay, but it wasn't nearly as good as Sacrifice Moon. I have two more, but I can't remember which ones at the moment!
