I am at my location. I have snacks. We have clear skies. I have my glasses. I am ready.

Edit 3: And home! The drive back wasn’t as bad as I had feared but worse than I hoped. C'est la vie! It would have been worth it at twice the time I spent, honestly. And I got to spend time with people I don’t see very often.

(Also, oddly, I ended up at Chuck E Cheese in a party where no one was under 16. But that’s another story.)
