I like to start off the New Year right by eating something nicely decadent, so I don't trick myself into thinking I'm starting a healthy lifestyle on Jan 1. Yesterday I saw someone make a pancake in a rice cooker and today I thought--I'll try it! It just finished, and I think I could have cooked it a bit longer, but it is less fussy than making pancakes individually, so I'll have to try it again.

I'm eating it while watching The Two Towers. They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!
