holdouttrout: not your ordinary fish (think invisible)
Maybe I haven't been around long enough, but why lock fic?

Most especially, why lock fic right after I read it/bookmark it to read again later?

I like fic. I like bookmarking fic. Is that so bad?

*hopes she didn't scare anyone away with random reviews for fics from yesteryear/yesterfandom.*

People do that when they don't want their RL friend on eljay to know what they write.

Me, on the other hand? Don't give a fuck. I write p0rn and, as far as I'm concerned, if you can find it, you can read it.

I can kinda understand that...but mostly my friends just roll their eyes, read the fic, and act all bemused and entertained.

So I'm all about non-locking.

I'm all about the non-locking too. It makes me sad.

Yeah, I don't understand locking down fic, esp if you first post a link to it anywhere. But then again none of my rl folks give a crap about fandom or eljay.

I pretty much only lock things down if it has to do with my real life.

Locking real life stuff makes sense.

Thanks for sympathizing.
