So apparently the thing to do now in telemarketing is to dial many phone numbers, and then put the people who answer on electronic hold until a representative is available.

So. THEY CALL ME and then I HOLD.

I've been caught twice, but I'm onto them. Next time, I hang up.

The evils of friends lock

Maybe I haven't been around long enough, but why lock fic?

Most especially, why lock fic right after I read it/bookmark it to read again later?

I like fic. I like bookmarking fic. Is that so bad?

*hopes she didn't scare anyone away with random reviews for fics from yesteryear/yesterfandom.*

Threadific rant and Jack's intelligence

So...if you have two versions of an episode (one slightly longer than the other), which do you put on the DVD? Come on, people; this is an easy question. Or maybe this is the question: does the extended version of Threads actually exist? Or is it fannish glee made up by gateworld.net? This is actually a rant that I've been saving up since I saw the rest of season 8, although now that it's here it doesn't sound particularly ranty. Any comments/insight/get-a-life comments accepted here.
