Okay, I know that not all episodes can be Monsoon. I understand that the universe only has so much awesome. HOWEVER, Tesla alone should really be enough to make an episode super fun. Most of the episode, though, I was like "Okay, so he has yet another evil genius plan that backfired and now Helen has to save him. YAWN." I mean, there were things I liked:

1. Helen's hair.

2. Helen.

3. Henry. (And Henry with Nikola Tesla: Action Hero.)

4. Nikola's impeccable clothing.

5. "Nicky," although they did not do nearly enough with that, because that was hilarious.

6. Henry's "Bloody hell," and Helen's look.

7. At the end, when Helen and Nikola gave each other these smiles, and it was a total "Okay, maybe not a storage closet, but..." look.

On the other hand, I did get to see some truly crazy rambling about how Nikola is CLEARLY ALWAYS on Helen's side and he'd NEVER betray her, and Helen was a MASSIVE BITCH to him the entire episode. Which mostly made me tilt my head because is that person watching the same show?* (Though they did have a point, in that I kinda was sitting there listening to Helen talk about unacceptable human cost, and I thought, "Oh, like you don't have a few bodies in the closet. Come on.")

*Clearly not.





So... I have two main questions:

1. What's happening to Liv? At first I thought it was the shape-shifter who gave her the files, but then the files weren't there.

2. Who is the shape-shifter typing to? Although, I thought you needed a mirror to use that setup. Which, admittedly, never made much sense, but still!

You know, I was not as fond of Helen's hair as I usually am. But I did enjoy the old-school sci-fi setup of this episode, even if I knew what was going to happen before Our Heroes did. What can I say? Nikola Tesla cures many ills.

That, my friend, is certainly true.

Helen's hair was straighter than normal, and while I normally like the wavier look myself, I really just like Helen's hair in general.
