Fringe: Spoilers through A Short Story About Love

Okay, so confession time: I've been not really enjoying this season much--I think it lost the edge of awesome, or of direction and purpose, and I've been feeling the lack for some time. I mean, this show owned my SOUL, people.

I've found the whole Peter/Olivia thing to be sort of ridiculous, actually. I actually liked the one where Olivia just started to remember, and I was like, "Finally! Olivia is going to be kickass!" and then she just sort of pined after Peter. Blech.

This last episode was the worst offender in terms of the Peter/Olivia stuff, although Zip did say that at least they came to a decision independently, which I think is good, too.

If someone disagrees with me vehemently, then please do speak up, because I'd love to fall in love with this show again.

Can't really help on the falling in love thing - I'm kinda in the same boat. Unless a scene has one of the Lincoln Lee's in it, I'm not too interested anymore...

Oh, good. Not just me then. I think the only moment I have loved this season is when Olivia purposely lured Peter so she could go ass-kick crazy on Jones.

That WAS pretty sweet, although... needing Peter to be awesome? Okay, I could buy that she needs him to do psychic things if it wasn't for all the rest of the overly sweet twu luv stuff.

I think that I'm one of the few people who actually liked the ending of the latest episode...:P Uhm...too shipper?
Though, this Amber Universe is confusing me a little and I think that s4 is a little too slow respect the previous ones. I kinda like some facts, like that there's no Henry from the wrong Olivia, but what are P/O going to do if they're the only one who remember their lives? And since Olivia has these memories, isn't it strange that she doesn't miss her sister and niece? or that she isn't upset about the AU Olivia thing, not even a little?
OK, I'm ranting...ahem...it's not my fault if they keep messing with my mind!!!!

I marathoned the first 3 seasons in rapid succession so my perspective on this season is a little skewed. I think its been a bit slow and jerky, but I'm enough of a shipwhore to appreciate a good reunion kiss. ;-)

Hee! Well, it might help if I were watching on DVD instead... usually I like things a little better that way, too.
