I hereby freely admit that I do, indeed, LIKE Sam Carter. (The character, not Amanda Tapping. Although, as far as actors go, she's only slightly behind Claudia Black on the List of Female Actors Holdouttrout Loves to the Point of Insanity.)

That being said, hate comms and contests are icky. (the entry linked has been deleted. essentially, it was a bunch of rational people stating that a contest to kill off Sam was kinda a bad idea, for various reasons.)

So while I do, indeed, like Sam Carter, I can understand that people don't like her. Some people have Really Good Reasons for disliking her. Others just don't want their slash dynamic screwed. You can make up your own mind about the linked post.

No, it would be fine at work today (don't tell my boss!) except I'm leaving in ten minutes and don't want to promise anything. But I have to cook once I get home, which means sticking chicken in the oven, so I'll have time then.
