I'm on a book kick lately, what can I say?

Anyway, I'm reading the oft-neglected Anne Bronte's Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I'm still just a few chapters in, but I like it! I expected to think it was alright, but a little dense, but I actually think it's rather enjoyable. It's an epistolary letter, and there are bits of humor that I appreciate, though the narrator is a little bit oblivious sometimes.

Okay, so Lost ended Sunday. I really liked the finale, for various reasons, many of which annerbhp ennumerated in her reaction post. (Of course, spoilers abound.) I was pleased that at the end, it really was all about the characters.

I have been thinking about the fact that it is now light-ish outside when I wake up, and how this means I should probably start trying to go for morning walks again. *sighs* It's a never-ending battle to get out the door, people. Maybe this summer... *trails off wistfully*

First and most importantly, jacksamfriends has tons of fun, delightful, gen Jack and Sam fanfic for the reading. I'm extremely amused by many of the stories, and have found others to be quite touching, and I haven't finished them all yet but plan to soon, very soon.

I also watched the Unusuals--well, half-watched, to be honest--and I liked it, I think. Interesting characters, although as with most first episodes, the pacing felt a bit off to me. I'm kinda only vaguely remembering anything except that Michael from Lost was there and Amber Tamblyn had really bright lips, and there was some mention of a guy named Kawalski. I'm pretty sure, anyway, which means that I can conceivably cross it over with both Lost AND Stargate, although this Kawalski was...well, not the greatest guy in the world. I thought it was funny, though, so I'll probably watch it again next week, as it's convenient to remember that it's on right after Lost.

Oh, and Better off Ted was hilarious. Thank you, Bean.

I'm slowly working my way through the meme post and giving answers. Y'alll are awesome. :-)

So...I finished the SW story last night. I'm posting the last of it tonight, I think. I am so excited. I'm very, very happy to have finished it. I loved the whole process of twisting the canon to suit the setting on Earth.

Honestly, it was written over too long a period of time, and it's a little disjointed. But for all that, I think it stands up pretty well.
